About This Project

Empowered citizens build better nations. That’s the idea behind everything we do.

Our Philosophy

We believe that being an empowered citizen, a responsible steward of our environment, and a compassionate member of the human family all begin with the same thing: being informed.

In a world of noise, polarization, and weaponized misinformation, the most radical act is to learn the facts, think critically, and engage constructively. We have a responsibility — to ourselves, to each other, and to the generations who will inherit what we build — to understand the issues that shape our lives and to act on that understanding.

This is how we counter the forces of division. Not with more anger, but with more knowledge. Not with louder voices, but with better-informed ones. When citizens learn, engage, and hold each other and their leaders to account with facts and respect, we build something stronger than any airport runway: we build a better nation and a better world.

Learn

Seek the evidence. Read all perspectives. Understand what is actually happening before forming an opinion.

Engage

Join the conversation. Share your perspective. Listen to others. Democracy works when citizens participate.

Act

Use your rights, your voice, and your resources to shape the future. Individual actions create collective momentum.

Our Mission

Dominica Gateway exists because the airport debate doesn’t have to be “For vs. Against.” There is a pragmatic middle road: shift aggregate sourcing to the West Coast, use sea-based logistics, and fund the sustainability premium through diaspora investment and green finance.

This platform presents all perspectives fairly, provides evidence-based analysis, and empowers citizens to participate in environmental decisions using the legal tools available under the Escazú Agreement.

This is not a government site. Dominica Gateway is an independent, citizen-led project. It is not affiliated with any political party, government entity, or commercial interest.
